MICHAEL KONG

Our new inspirational techniques for year 2013.

Even we understand upfront, underwater photography is not the most straightforward branch of nature photography but it is, undoubtedly, among the most challenging and rewarding. We understand as well that composing and taking an image while hovering motionless certainly requires skill; controlling the camera via the knobs of an external housing are often does not lend itself to dynamic responses to photographic opportunities; add to that currents, low light, poor visibility and, of course, the need of us to keep breathing. Aside on photographer challenges, the model on the other hand has no easy way out either. The turns, the swings, the swims and the kicks, whole lot of energy required.

Michael, a modern 21st century office-execuitve from Singapore has had the courage to step out from his air-conditioned workplace, jumped into the pool with style under Tropicana Malaysian sunlight, and these are what we've got. Kind of rewarding images captured we should say.
